DATA ANALYST / MIS SPECIALIST

EDUCATION: 
– At least 1st. degree in statistics or any related field
SKILLS:
– Strong analytical skills.
– Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel (formulas, data capture and pivot tables), and in-depth knowledge of integrated business and accounting systems.
– Knowledge of designing/ developing/ maintaining reporting systems using MS Office.
– Able to work to project deadlines both effectively and efficiently.
– Able to work closely with colleagues to meet tight deadlines.
– Highly numerate and have excellent attention to detail.

EXPERIENCE: 
– Previous experience within a services industry such as retail, financial services, telecommunications, call centre or utilities is valuable.
LOCATION: Will be based in Kumasi with trips to Soya and cashew producing regions of Ghana.
JOB SPECIFICATION:
– Create company reports and process all data extracts and imports always ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. 
– Maintain and improve existing data analysis tools and reports.
– Managing data integrity and ensuring data is accurate before utilized for analysis and reporting.
– Extract and collate information from a variety of internal and external sources. 
– Collate and produce reports for the managers to review. 
– Create/analyze/maintain/update the company data management system and reporting suite. 
– Proactive and reactive analysis and interpretation from reporting to support business strategy and planning. 
– Create intelligent and informative written and visual reports. 
– Support the production of quality reports by developing reporting processes and identify the areas where value can be added. 
– Gathering reporting requirements to support the business on a day-to-day basis, to allow the business to make informed decisions. 
– Identify and implement key operational, financial, and historical measurements and Key Performance Indicators to use in operational day to day management. 
– Providing accurate information within as set deadline. 
– Develop internal reports to present the data in most easily consumable way and surface the key insights from the data. 
– Proactively work with reporting Managers to ensure that information provision is tailored to their priorities and supports their decision-making requirements. 
– Work with Operational Managers to develop appropriate reports and audits of system usage, and data quality. 
– Support data provision for the organization through providing accurate and meaningful routine, scheduled and ad hoc reports to a variety of users. 
– Provide analysis and interpretation to support evaluation of organizational activities. 
– Provide organizational data in several formats including dashboards, graphs, charts, and reports. 
– Conduct Data Quality Audits as necessary. 
– Any other duties that may be required from time to time for the smooth running of the business.

COCOA FLOW COORDINATOR

An internationally related agriculture commodity buying organization is seeking to recruit a Cocoa Flow Coordinator.
QUALIFICATION:
Minimum 1st. degree in Agri-business, Certification or any related field
SKILLS: 
– A detailed-oriented professional who uses analytical skills and follows all procedures to ensure that all internal processes are followed according to the policies. 
– Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. 
– Should possess good computer skills in Microsoft office and is able to independently create digital reports. 
– Should have proven experience with data collection tools. 
– Should be able to work and live in rural deprived communities for at least 30% of the time. 
– Should be fluent in the Twi language. Any other local language is a plus. 
– Should have a valid driving license.
EXPERIENCE: At least 3 years in the cocoa sector
AGE: 30 – 45 years
JOB SPECIFICATION:
– Supervises and Monitors the Cocoa Purchases Data collection. 
– Compares physical stocks at district warehouses and compare with waybills and goods receive notes and entries carried out by the field staff. 
– Monitors the system for errors in uploads of the cocoa purchases data, and make the necessary corrections together with the respective Field Staff. 
– Carry out monthly reconciliation, verification and confirmation with responsible Field Staff (Data Collection Officer) to ensure that purchases data for the month in question have been correctly and fully captured and uploaded unto the software on or before the end of the 2nd Week of the new Month and submit report to the Operations Manager. 
– Periodically move to the field to monitor and assess uploads of cocoa purchases data by the respective Field Staff. 
– Check collector waybills, collector Good Receive notes and any other documentation in relation with farmer purchases and actual bags sold during primary evacuation. 
– Follows and monitor all Standard Operations Procedures and IMS Standards; 
– Prepares periodical reports to the Operations Manager; Any other task assigned by the Operations Manager.

JOB SPECIFICATION:
– Represent the organization and act as primary contact to stakeholders in the operational area. 
– Provide supervision to the field staff with regards to all their key responsibilities.
– Monitor and evaluate performance of all Technical Coordinators within the Operational area on the basis of their key responsibilities.
– Monitor all Technical Coordinators within assigned operational area to ensure high levels of motivation, commitment, capacity and teamwork.
– Monitor and report weekly on purchases.
– Prepare and provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reports. 
– Ensure that organization’s strategic objectives and targets are fully accomplished. 
– Monitor and report on training and internal Inspection.
– Full responsibilities of all the field staff if applicable. 
– Ensure up to date entries and uploads of purchases data and monitor portal to ensure all field data and complaints are uploaded.
